Greater Irvine Chamber Scholarship (In Honor of John Greg Colvin)
For students who are currently enrolled OR have been accepted to a university or college within the Irvine footprint. Must demonstrate extraordinary commitment to family, education, fitness and community.

National Charity League, Inc.

Must be a full time student applying for a full time status at an accredited educational or vocational institution in the fall of 2018. Must be a female student currently enrolled at one of the four Irvine High Schools. Minimum GPA of 2.5 or a counselor's recommendation. Must have demonstrated community service and leadership (may not be a memeber of NCL).

Arab American Institute Scholarship

9th-12th grade are eligible. The Helen Abbott Community Service Awards honor students and student organizations whose devotion to community service, selfless acts of care, and interest in improving the quality of life for others reflect the life of the Awards’ namesake.  Each year the Foundation awards a maximum of two $1,000 individual prizes and one $500 grant to a high school student. Organizational community service projects include, but are not limited to: community improvement and service projects such as park clean-ups, recycling programs, volunteering in shelters, tutoring programs, food/toy drives, and ethnic/cultural outreach.
1.     Currently enrolled in High School; or as an undergraduate in a college or university program
2.     U.S. citizens or permanent legal residents that are of Arab descent
3.     Have a minimum 3.0 grade point average verified by either an official or unofficial transcript

Insight Pest Solutions Scholarship

The $1,000 "Overcoming Your Fears" 
If you are currently enrolled in college or headed there in 2018 and want to win a $1,000 scholarship to help cover expenses, consider entering the Insight Pest Solutions scholarship contest. Insight Pest will award a $1,000 college scholarship to a highly motivated student.

Equalizers Running Club Scholarship
Each year, scholarship funds are raised through the Orange Park Acres 4th of July Pre-parade 5K & 10K Epic Challenge Cross Country Trail Race. Must be attending an Orange County, CA High School OR be a prior Orange Park Acres 5K or 10K participant. Must have participated in a High School Track or Cross Country team at some point during High School.
Award: $400 scholarships to one male and one female (Seniors Student-Athlete)

PFLAG South Orange County Scholarship 
Must be a resident (or a parent must be a resident) of Orange County at the time of the application.
Must identify as gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, intersex, queer or straight ally. LGBTQIA high school senior continuing to higher education; LGBTQIA full-time undergraduate; LGBTQIA student attending or planning on attending a vocational school. Ages 17 to 24. 2.0 Overall GPA; Involved in support, education and/or advocacy in their school or community.
Award $500-$2,500

Junior League of Orange County, Ca. Inc. 

Currently a graduating high school senior or a post-secondary student. High school or post-secondary grade point average of 3.0 or above.Citizen or permanent resident of the United States. Pending acceptance to a post-secondary institution (required for receipt of scholarship). If registering as a part-time student, proof of 20 or more hours of work per week. Agreement to attend the JLOCC June 2018 meeting to accept any award or send an appropriate designee (parent, executive director of the project/program, foster parent, etc.). Scholars should be willing to update the JLOCC about their academic experience by May 2018. May not be an immediate relative of a JLOCC member (i.e. sibling, daughter, son). Scholars must use the funds awarded within one calendar year from the official award date.
Award is up to $2,500

B. Davis Scholarship 

This Scholarship is available to all high school juniors and seniors as well as all students currently registered in any post secondary institution. There is no age restriction. Be sure to include your name and the school you are attending this year and next. This is not an academic scholarship but we would like to know where you are going to school now and what your future academic plans are. Please do not send transcripts or letters of recommendation at this time.

California Association of Winegrape Growers Foundation
Each year the Foundation awards two 4-year scholarships and four 2-year scholarships to high school seniors whose parent or legal guardian is employed by a California winegrape grower. The two 4-year scholarships provide a total of $8,000 each for any campus in the University of California or California State University system. The four 2-year scholarships provide a total of $2,000 each at any California community college

The Heritage Park of the Library (FOL)

The Heritage Park Friends of the Library (FOL) will once again be sponsoring scholarships for graduating high school students.  The FOL will award up to five (5) $1,000 scholarships this year. The scholarships are for students living in Irvine (they can attend high school in another city).

Abbot & Fenner Scholarship
The A&F Scholarships are available to all high school juniors and seniors as well as all students currently registered in any accredited post secondary institution. To apply for this scholarship you will need to write an essay on the topic below. The essay should be between 500 and 1000 words. Your submissions must be sent to us by email at: Topic: Describe your educational career and life goals. Explain your plan for achieving these goals. Include your degree/major, why you selected it, and how this degree/major will help you achieve your goals.

Congressional Award

Open to ages 14 to 23 year-olds. 
Award: Participants earn Bronze, Siver and Gold Congressional Award Certificates and Award Medals.
