For graduating seniors in good academic standing, who attended Bonita Canyon Elementary School in Irvine for at least one full academic year.
Award: $1,000

Kiwanis Key Club Scholarship (UNI Students)
For Seniors in high school who are members of the key club. Each applicant will be judged on GPA, Key Club activities, school activities and a written essay. Please send completed applications to:

American Red Cross Scholarship

Criteria for selecting a scholarship recipient:

Student must be in their senior year of high school
Student must graduate high school on time at the end of their senior year.
Student must utilize the scholarship to continue his/her education starting in the fall semester (2018) following graduation at an accredited 2-year, 4-year or professional trade school
Student must have given blood for both drives
Need to send a resume and transcript along with a paragraph demonstrating financial need to
due by by May 11, 2018

STEM Scholarships

Department of Defense scholarships provide cash awards to students who have demonstrated ability and aptitude for excelling in STEM fields in disciplines of importance to DoD.

Horatio Alger Association of Distinguished Americans, Inc.
For high school students who will be graduated by Spring 2018 and are interested in pursuing a career or technical education in a post-secondary environment. Must have financial need.

The $1,000 "Overcoming Your Fears" 
If you are currently enrolled in college or headed there in 2018 and want to win a $1,000 scholarship to help cover expenses, consider entering the Insight Pest Solutions scholarship contest. Insight Pest will award a $1,000 college scholarship to a highly motivated student.

PFLAG South Orange County Scholarship 
Must be a resident (or a parent must be a resident) of Orange County at the time of the application.
Must identify as gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, intersex, queer or straight ally. LGBTQIA high school senior continuing to higher education; LGBTQIA full-time undergraduate; LGBTQIA student attending or planning on attending a vocational school. Ages 17 to 24. 2.0 Overall GPA; Involved in support, education and/or advocacy in their school or community.

B. Davis Scholarship 
This Scholarship is available to all high school juniors and seniors as well as all students currently registered in any post secondary institution. There is no age restriction. Be sure to include your name and the school you are attending this year and next. This is not an academic scholarship but we would like to know where you are going to school now and what your future academic plans are. Please do not send transcripts or letters of recommendation at this time.

Abbot & Fenner Scholarship
The A&F Scholarships are available to all high school juniors and seniors as well as all students currently registered in any accredited post secondary institution. To apply for this scholarship you will need to write an essay on the topic below. The essay should be between 500 and 1000 words. Your submissions must be sent to us by email at: Topic: Describe your educational career and life goals. Explain your plan for achieving these goals. Include your degree/major, why you selected it, and how this degree/major will help you achieve your goals.

Congressional Award

Open to ages 14 to 23 year-olds. 
Award: Participants earn Bronze, Siver and Gold Congressional Award Certificates and Award Medals.
