The UHS Orchestra Boosters is a parent volunteer group that exists in order to promote, support and sustain the ongoing efforts of the UHS Orchestra Program. There are many
volunteer opportunities (fundraising events, orchestra concerts, program coordinators, reception organizers, etc.) within the orchestra program and volunteering is a fun way to become a part of the orchestra family :). The Booster Board meets monthly with Mrs. Lee to discuss the ongoing needs of orchestra program. Mrs. Lee is so thankful for all of the parent volunteers and knows the program would not be any where near it is today without the help, love and support from the UHS Orchestra Boosters! Please contact Mrs. Lee () if you are interested in serving on the 2016-2017 Orchestra Boosters Board.

Grace Lee grew up in Los Alamitos, California. Her mother knew right away that she had a natural talent in music when she overheard her playing Mendelssohn's Wedding March by ear on the piano at the age of 3. By the age of 6, Mrs. Lee began to study the violin and soon entered various competitions offered by the state. By the age of 11, Mrs. Lee won numerous awards including five 1st place trophies in SYMF, 1st place in ASTA regionals and 3rd in ASTA State Finals, CM Panel winner, and various other competitions in Southern California. She was also featured in the Korean Times as the Korean Music Festival grand prize winner. Mrs. Lee was also the youngest member of both OCYSO and PSYO ensembles when she was in elementary and middle school. As a freshman, she was awarded “Most Promising Artist” the top achievement award from Orange County High School of the Arts.
Mrs. Lee received her Bachelor’s in Music Performance, specializing in Violin, from UC Irvine. She studied with renowned violinist, Harotune Bedelian, and was offered a music scholarship and also served as an Arts Bridge Scholar. Mrs. Lee graduated as a Rawlins Scholar and with honors for high musical achievements. She continued her studies and received her Masters in Teaching and music credential from UC Irvine. Mrs. Lee is an active member in outside music organizations including ASTA, SCSBOA, NafME and has served as an adjudicator for SCSBOA and IUSD Festivals. Mrs. Lee is thrilled to be teaching at Uni and hopes to share her love of music and inspire students to be the best they can be.
